Robert Hansen opened Book Stamp and Picture Gallery more widely known
as BSP Gallery bookshop at Hampton Street, Hampton Victoria in 1981. In
2003 the business moved to Malvern East another suburb in Melbourne, Australia. Stock now
consists of over 64,000 titles covering military, natural history, art and performing arts,
Australian history, transport, craft, Australian art, literature, modern firsts, aboriginal,
occult, Pacificana, old postcards and ephemera. As well as the premises in Malvern East,
BSP Gallery was situated in antique centres at Queenscliff, Moorooduc, Yarra Glen and
Armadale. Now all closed, the business operates entirely from the internet, but does have a
small showroom open in the mornings at the above address. Below are photographs of the shop
